With over 20 years of professional experience, Doug has been involved with home remodeling for much of his professional career helping homeowners make the most of their homes. More recently, Doug has started investing in real estate to improve communities through the purchase and renovation of under performing property. For the last 4 1/2 years Doug has owned and operated Journey Properties, dba JPHomeBuyers in Roanoke, VA. Through JPHomeBuyers Doug has been helping motivated sellers quickly transition away from unwanted properties. To date, JPHomeBuyers has bought or assigned roughly 75 properties in the Roanoke Valley.

In this episode of the FlippingJunkie podcast, Doug shares how he took action without overly complicating things to jump right into this business! I love his story. He had fear but did it anyway. He didn’t let fear cause him to get caught up in analysis paralysis. He sent letters out without fretting over all the wording. He just took the next action that needed to be taken each step along the way.

He also shares the details of how he ended up with 2 home run wholesale deals! One he ended up assigning for $29k and the other for $55k!!! That’s incredible!

At the end of the episode, Doug shares how he uses FlipPilot to help manage his business and keep himself consistent for following up.

You don’t want to miss this episode. There is so much gold in this one!
