Victor Alves started investing in 2015 with his wife Nina, after leaving a job in sales. They attended a seminar about real estate investing and from there made the decision to invest $25,000 into their education and getting started on their business. They knew that if they were going to do it, they wanted to go all in- and that’s exactly what they did! They started wholesaling to learn the market and within their first year had done 6 wholesale deals. The following year they continued wholesaling, but also completed 2 flips and ended the year with 13 deals under their belt.

In the beginning of 2017, Victor started working with his current partner, whom he met at the same training course that he and his wife took years before. This is when business really began to take off exponentially. Today they’ve now done over 50 flips in total, acquired 9 rentals, and raised over $5M of private capital. Their success is credited to their balanced relationship within the business as a team. Victor’s partner is more involved with the construction side of things, while Victor focuses his attention on marketing. They’re individual skills and interests compliment each other in a way that allows each of them to focus on the things that they should be.

Victor also shares with Danny how he shifted his business when he made the decision to shift his message across his business’ marketing. He says that he began studying data and pulling insights that eventually helped him tailor his message to whichever audience that he was targeting. From there, the business has only continued to grow and find success.
